A simple solution to your knee brace that won't stay up

Knee brace won't stay up?

At Old Bones Therapy we know a few things about knee pain and having to wear knee braces. We're into extreme sports like skateboarding, BMX, motocross, surfing, snowboarding and mountain biking. If it's dangerous and can cause seriously bodily harm, we're into it.

None of these extreme sports or physical activities are easy on our bodies. Ask any of these athletes over the age of 30 if they've had a knee injury and they'll smile all knowingly, perhaps even laugh at you. That's where Old Bones Therapy comes in. We've designed products to help with these aches and pains, allowing our customers to continue being active and enjoying the sports that they love.

Knee braces and compression sleeves are very common amongst extreme sports athletes.

One question we hear a lot is "How do I keep my knee brace from sliding down"? Whether it's a knee brace or a knee pad, Old Bones Therapy has perfected the knitted compression sleeve. We make compression sleeves for ankles, knees, elbows and wrists. These compression sleeves are made out of a highly elastic knitted material which will not stretch out and will stay up without any extra straps.

As for knee braces sliding down, here's the cool thing as it relates to compression sleeves. You can wear them underneath your knee braces or pads and they will keep your knee brace from sliding down.

Many of our customers find that wearing a compression knee sleeve provides them with ample support and protection, leading them to simply ditch the bulky knee braces.

There are also additional benefits to wearing a compression knee brace:

  • Increased circulation
  • Pain relief
  • Reduces swelling
  • Faster recovery time
  • Improves stability
  • Maintains alignment
  • Prevents further injuries

Did we mention our knitted compression sleeves are breathable and won't stretch out?
